Bellatrix Black
Year 3 - October

Bella walked up to the sofa slowly and loosen her scarf. She was having shortness of breath, again. It usually happens at night when she's lying down (and needs at least 2 pillows for her to be able to breathe properly and ensure a peaceful sleep – at times, her condition would worsen and cause her to wake up suddenly, finding it hard to breath) but occasionally it happens even when she's walking too fast or when anxiety attacks. Bella was grateful that her current state had improved compared to when she was still a child. Remembering how she would not be able to play with the other kids when she was younger (because she couldn't keep up with all the running or whatever activity whey were doing) was not a very pleasant memory - and contributed partly to her confined characteristics as she grew up.

She scanned the familiar place. There were only a handful of Slytherins around and it’s not as noisy as the usual.
This is good.

A month passed since Hogwarts started. There weren’t much drama lately as compared to the first morning’s breakfast. Everyone settled down. Even her now, nearly obese Persian cat had already made new friends (since it's her first time at Hogwarts - and seeing that Foe was sometimes caught mingling around with other kittens). Foe is her second cat. Her first Birma cat died only one year after her parents bought it for her. She had just only turned twelve then and she cried for a few nights after the incident, when a reckless muggle’s car ramp over it and drove off instantly, leaving its helpless body lying in a pool of blood at the side of the road. She went pale at the horrid sight of her precious cat. Stupid muggles, curse them! – hatred towards them fills her whenever she was reminded of that incident. It took her a whole year after that fateful day for her to ‘get over’ it and decide to have another one.

Still breathing deeply, Bella sank on the sofa and adjusted herself into a comfortable position. Ahh…Nice. She shut her eyes. She needed a rest before heading to dinner later.
